This beautiful property is perfectly positioned on the World Heritage site of Hadrian’s Wall. Spanning 84 miles coast to coast across the North of England, the largest Roman monument in Europe. Walkers and hikers will be delighted with direct country trails from the cottage, across Hadrian’s Walk. Relax and enjoy the magnificent views and lazy evening star gazing, in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The picture postcard village of Brampton is close at hand and the city of Carlisle is within easy reach. Touring distance of the Lake District, Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Visit the Roman ruins at Housesteads, Birdoswald and Vindolanda. Or enjoy a trip to and the ancient woodland at Gelt Woods and Talkin Tarn Country Park.
Enter the charming, single-storey cottage into the hall, through to the light and bright spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The comfortable lounge area with wood burner, ideal for cosy nights in, is also the perfect place to relax and enjoy your favourite TV program or perhaps watch a movie after a day out exploring the local area. There is also direct access from the lounge though the French doors out to the rear garden. The kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Enjoy a meal in the lovely dining area, taking in the splendid views over the rear garden. Next you are met with the beautiful, spacious king-size master bedroom, with wonderful views over the garden and surrounding countryside. Completing the accommodation is the stylish shower room with shower and WC.
Venturing outside, you will find the fully enclosed rear garden with seating area. Ideal for al fresco dining and to enjoy the views over the beautiful countryside, perhaps with a good local ale or a nice glass of wine. There is also an abundance of wildlife and birds that visit the garden. There is ample off-road parking directly in front of the property.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
