This wonderful period holiday cottage is perfect for a cosy country retreat. With its fantastic traditional open range fire and enclosed garden with a lovely summer house to enjoy.

Located in the historic pretty village of Otterburn, enjoying fantastic valley views over hills and moorland. The village boasts great amenities including a highly acclaimed restaurant, friendly country pubs, renowned wedding venues, Mill Museum and well stocked shop. Or travel further afield and visit the nearby historic fantastic market towns of Corbridge and Hexham. Enjoy a trip to the nearby National Trust homes, such as the magnificent Cragside House and Wallington Hall. Close at hand is the scenic Kielder Water & Forest Park, offering water sports and some of the most challenging mountain bike trails in the UK. Within touring distance of the unspoilt Northumberland coastline with splendid sandy beaches to explore, including Bamburgh and Lindisfarne.

Entering the stylish traditional property from the front garden into the hall, perfect place to store outdoor clothing. Through to the light and bright comfortable lounge with wonderful views over the Cheviot Hills. Relax on the comfy deep sofas and enjoy cosy nights in front of the roaring open fire. Perhaps watch a good film or catch up with your TV programme with BT Vision or listen to your favourite music on the Bluetooth soundbar. The dining area with ample seating for four guests is the perfect place to enjoy meals together. Leading off the lounge is the well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave, with rear door access to the courtyard and enclosed garden. Followed by the utility with washing machine. Venturing back through the hallway up the steep cottage style stairs, you will find the pretty double bedroom with views over the rear garden and courtyard. Next door is the bathroom with hand held shower hose bath and WC. Continuing up the next flight of steep steps, you are met with the beautiful master bedroom with comfy double bed, feature fire place and wonderful valley views over the hills and moorland beyond. Finally completing the accommodation is the fantastic dressing room with ample storage space, situated next to the master bedroom.

Heading outside to the rear garden from the courtyard, you will find a small flight of stone steps leading up to the enclosed garden with seating area, perfect for al fresco dining and lazy evening star gazing. At the top of the garden is the delightful summer house, the ideal place to relax and perhaps enjoy a good book. There is a private off-road parking space, accessed at the side of the building next to the rear garden. There is also a large bay opposite the front of the cottage for roadside parking too.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
