This historic property was built in 1760 to utilise the healing waters of the Beaulieu River, which sits just beyond a public footpath beside the building. Backed by the beautiful New Forest National Park, there are miles of open forest to explore right on the doorstep. Those wishing to get active can chose from numerous activities locally including, kayaking, canoeing, walking and riding. Why not try out one of the cafes and pubs along the way. Lovers of history can head to Buckler’s Hard or visit the National Motor Museum, Palace House and Beaulieu Abbey, nestled within the Beaulieu Estate. Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway is also easily accessible or take the ferry from Lymington to the Isle of Wight.

A shared driveway brings you through the adjoining boat yard to the property. A path leads from the parking area to the entrance into this detached former bath house. Once inside you are met with a contemporary kitchen immediately to the right, which is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and dishwasher. An outdoor utility area houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. A step leads up to the bathroom, which has a bath, separate shower and WC. Heading back through the kitchen will bring you to the double bedroom and then the lounge that runs the full depth of the property. This inviting space has a Smart TV, Bluetooth radio and a wood burner effect electric fire, ideal for enjoying romantic evenings in.

Head out from the lounge or kitchen into the enclosed garden, where table and chairs provide the perfect space to enjoy a relaxed breakfast or evening drinks. The garden wraps around the property and has a covered seating area to the front, which has wonderful views of the river. An unenclosed pond (the Dukes former bath) sits to the side of the property (care to be taken with children and dogs).
