This property is situated in an attractive rural location in mid-Devon, where the traditional village pub and shop are within walking distance. The pub welcomes the whole family so sit down and enjoy an evening meal. The village shop offers a range of products. There is plenty to do in the local area, including the rugged Dartmoor National Park which is just a short drive and is perfect for nature lovers and walkers, the Tarka Trail, Ruby Way and Granite Way are also within easy reach. Visit the coast to enjoy the long, sandy, surfing beaches and sheltered coves, you’re spoilt for choice with the Devon and Cornwall coastlines within a short drive. Nearby attractions include RHS Rosemoor, Dingles Fairground Heritage Centre and Southwest Segway Adventure.
Set in an idyllic location within the owner’s grounds where privacy is assured. On entering the property, the hallway is the perfect spot to hang your coats, wipe your paws and leave your walking boats behind you. Following on through the property you will enter the traditional farm house lounge area, boasting a beautiful fire place with wood burner and original bread oven. Allowing you to sit back, relax amongst the rich soft furnishing and lose yourself in a good book or snuggle up with the whole family and enjoy a movie or two on the TV/DVD. Leading off the lounge is the conservatory area which is a great spot to find a little piece and quite if you have a house full. Also leading off the lounge is the remarkable country kitchen, well-equipped with electric range oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave. At the back of the kitchen is a small utility room which offers a washing machine, and also found on the ground floor is the separate WC. After a long day, head upstairs to the first floor to rest your head. Here you will find three bedrooms, a king-size which boast an en-suite shower room and WC, a further king-size which boasts views across the rolling countryside and a light and airy twin bedroom. On this floor you will also find the shower room with shower and WC.
Outside, the property enjoys an enclosed garden, which has a pleasant patio seating area with a gas BBQ and a large lawn area. There is also ample parking available.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
