Quarterdeck Cottage
This converted Holiday Cottage has been beautifully decorated throughout to cleverly combine old and new. Offering a tranquil getaway in idylic rural Kent surroundings for two with plenty to see and explore on the doorstep.

Surrounded by beautiful Kent countryside and overlooking a lake, this is a nature lover’s paradise. The village of Biddenden is just a mile and a half away, which boasts pretty weavers’ cottages, tea rooms, independent shops and even a Michelin-star restaurant, The West House. Hop in the car and head south and you’ll reach the Kent and East Sussex coastline, which boasts sandy and pebbled beaches and several picturesque seaside towns. There are Vineyards, Beaches, Leeds & Sissinghurst Castle locally and close to Pilgrims Way.

A side door opens into the kitchen area, which features wooden worktops and a vaulted ceiling lined with exposed beams. Here you will find an electric oven and hob, small dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Beneath the window there is a small wooden gate leg table with two chairs, at which to sit and enjoy a meal overlooking the lake. The lounge is open plan to the bedroom area and features a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and ceiling trusses and a large sliding glass door to the patio area, providing guests with a stunning lake view from the bed. The beds can either be used as two singles or one super king-size. During the day, guests can sit on the comfortable sofa and unwind watching a film or listening to music using the iPod dock. The bathroom is bright and clean with pretty tiling, and has a bath with powerful overhead shower.

Patio doors, from the bedroom, open onto a private decked area over the lake, with sun loungers and a wooden picnic table, where guests can enjoy breakfast or a nice relaxing meal after a busy day exploring.
