This charming cottage is approached via winding lanes and is situated in the heart of the Dedham Vale ANOB, and actually located in the famous village of Dedham, the accommodation renovated in 2016 is located in a peaceful location near the church.

The property is approached via winding lanes and is situated in the famous Constable Country in the village of Dedham near Flatford, on the Suffolk/Essex border. The accommodation renovated in 2016 is located in a peaceful location near the church.

Located in Essex the area offers a wealth of opportunity, visit the quaint villages of Dedham and Flatford made famous by painter John Constable. Further afield lies the beautiful villages of Long Melford and Lavenham steeped in history and the back drop to many television series including Love Joy. The Suffolk coast is close with the beautiful beaches and seaside towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh. Attractions include Sutton Hoo, Framlingham and Orford Castles and Jimmy’s farm. For shopping head to Colchester, Freeport at Braintree and Ipswich.

On arrival guests enter the cottage into a hallway, with stairs leading to the first floor. Cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin. The lounge has comfortable sofa and chair, TV and DVD, a feature fire place with traditional tiles. Kitchen/diner, a well equipped kitchen having an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge, table and chairs for dining. From the first floor landing there are two bedrooms, 1 master double bedroom, 1 single bedroom with and additional pull out bed. The family shower room comprising of a double walk in shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin.

Outisde: Bistro table and chairs. There is off road parking to the front of the property.
