This delightful character cottage in the village of Tideswell stands in the heart of the Peak District National Park, it has pubs, a restaurant, cafes, fish and chip shops, and sandwich shops and surrounded by must-visit towns. Tideswell is well known for its popular Food Festival, which takes place every May.

It features a wide variety of food from local suppliers, as well as stalls, cookery demonstrations and entertainment. There is excellent walking with rugged peaks to the north, gentle hills and dales to the south and Millers Dale just outside the village. Mam Tor and Castleton are only a few miles away and the popular Spa town of Buxton is within a short driving distance.

Step inside this thoughtfully renovated cottage bursting with character and charm behind its white exterior. Enter the warm and welcoming lounge at the front of the cottage with its beamed ceiling, wooden floors and comfortable seating surrounding the Smart TV/DVD and wood burner. It’s the perfect place to snuggle down whilst watching a movie after a long day walking in the Peaks. Heading through to the kitchen, which is fully equipped with all your home comforts, an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Take the stairs to reach the first floor, here you will find a king-size bedroom, a double bedroom and the bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

From the kitchen, take the steps up to the raised patio featuring a bistro-style table, the ideal place to relax in your rural surroundings. Light the charcoal BBQ and dine alfresco. There is a very handy outside hot & Cold tap with a sprinkler hose attachment for washing those muddy paws after a day of exploring. There is roadside parking directly outside, subject to availability.
