Located in the small seaside town of Watchet, this detached home is within walking distance of the town’s marina, harbour, cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops, and weekly summer market. There are rock pooling and fossil hunting beaches on either side of the harbour, and pebble beaches at Blue Anchor and Dunster just a short drive away. Step back in time and board a steam train on the West Somerset Railway that takes you through the beautiful Somerset countryside. Minehead, with its sandy beaches, and the attractive village of Porlock are also nearby. There are plenty of attractions to keep the whole family entertained, including Tropiquaria Zoo, Dunster Castle, Doniford Farm, sea fishing trips, and Exmoor Owl and Hawk Centre. Keen walkers will enjoy exploring Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills.
Step into this immaculate detached house and into the spacious hall. The dual-aspect light and airy lounge is stylishly appointed with a Smart TV, PlayStation 4 and a football table. The kitchen/diner is the focal point of the house with bifold doors leading on to the patio bringing the outside in and offering enviable far-reaching views over Watchet and to the sea – on a clear day, you can see as far as Wales. The contemporary kitchen includes two electric ovens, an induction hob, a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine cooler and a Nespresso coffee maker. The comfortable dining area seats six and there is also a comfortable sofa. The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dyer. There is also a useful cloakroom with a WC. Heading upstairs, there are three bedrooms, with the master bedroom boasting incredible sea views. This bedroom has a king-size bed, a Smart TV, bifold doors which open onto a balcony with seating and a swinging chair, and completing this room is an en-suite shower room with a shower and WC. The second bedroom is a further king-size and the final bedroom is twin zip-and-link (which can be made into a super-king-size on request) which enjoys stunning views. Completing this floor is the bathroom with a freestanding bath, separate shower and WC.
Outside, there is a private enclosed patio where guests can enjoy unwinding on the comfortable seating while enjoying the stunning sea views. There is also a hot tub, which is particularly inviting at night, when guests can enjoy the warm bubbling water under the star-filled skies. Guests will also find a BBQ stand for disposable BBQs in this space. To the side of the house is an external staircase which leads to a raised grassed area with seating where you can enjoy the views.
There is also driveway parking for two cars as well as an EV charging point (available at an additional cost, please contact owner prior to arrival).
